Over tens of thousands of years, the world’s flora and fauna has transformed to fit the ever-changing climate of the Earth. There's evidence change can happen fast, too. Salamanders, for example, are rapidly evolving in the face of climate change. Some species in the U.S. have grown shorter and smaller in just the past 50 years in response to drier, warmer conditions, according to a report in Global Change Biology and National Geographic. Humans were made to adapt, too. Just remember that the next time you think "I can't."
