Energy-Efficient Windows

Rockhaven is on its first phase of changing all the old single-pane windows and doors in Wisdom and Tiamat House. Thanks to the financial donation of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary, now Wisdom House has energy-efficient windows. With these windows, mush less energy is used for heating and cooling the house, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions and consequently reducing Rockhaven's carbon footprint. With the low-emissivity windows, guests can now be more comfortable in their rooms and meeting place - no more cold drafts and overheated spaces! Lastly, Rockhaven installed a huge picture window over the kitchen sink-a great incentive for volunteer dishwashers!

The next 'window make-over' will be in Tiamat House. Hopefully, soon.
